  • Nurture The Creative Mind - Ice Cream Giveaway

    Ice Cream Giveaway

    Each year we rent out a local ice cream truck and drive around neighborhoods giving away free ice cream away.

    Since 2021 we have treated local kids to $1200 in ice cream.

  • Holiday Giveaway

    Annually we sponsor families during the Christmas holiday. Up to 10 families, or 25 kids are treated to lunch, hot chocolate and gifts for the kids and the families. Since 2019 we, along with our partners, have sponsored more than 100 kids, to $20,000 in presents.

  • Joe McQueen Mural

    Nurture the Creative Mind led the initiative to honor one of our community’s local legends. We hosted a fundraiser to collect funds, then supplemented those funds rasied to commission local artist Brent Atwood paint the mural. Joe himself requested that There also be a nod to AnneBelle Weakly-Mattson the owner of the Porters and Waiters Club in downtown Ogden.

    We had the honor of recognizing and memorializing Mr. McQueen's influence and impact musically as well as socially, while he was still able to witness our appreciation as a community.

  • Street Pianos - 25th street Ogden

    For 10 years we placed nearly 100 pianos hand painted by youth and professional arts out on the streets of Ogden during the summers for all to play

  • Community Calaveras

    Each year we place 4x4 calaveras around downtown Ogden in recognition of Dia De Los Muertos. Each hand painted by community artists.
